Combining our k.p and kinetic modeling with the advanced semiconductor spectroscopy measurements by our experimental partners, we have demonstrated a series of resonances and anti-resonances in phonon-assisted relaxation between lectron states in a double-quantum-dot structure. This is possible because elecric-field tunability of phonon-induced and radiative proceses in these special “artificial molecules” allowed us to bring the usually distinct time scales of these two types processes to the same range of values.
